Description
Claire and Chris knew each other in highschool and occasionaly
jammed out. Claire works with Dale at Jd's pizza , and Dale
mentioned he played drums. They talked music one day and of
starting a band, but werent really serious. One Evening Chris
came into Jd's ,(cuz thats what we do in Girard is hang out
at the pizza shop), and Claire half kiddingly suggested to
Chris we should start a band, he said sure, and spoke of a
killer guitarist from fairview, Eric. With dale on drums, claire
on lead vocals and rythm guitar, chris on bass and vocals,
and eric on lead guitar, we had everything ready. The 4 messed
around in a friend's garage for an afternoon and instantly
clicked. That day Better Off Trying was formed. Back in the
Winter of 2003-2004. So these 4 incredibly talented kids are
now out and about playing wherever we can and whenever. I mean
we could just be sittin at home doing nothing with our gifts,
but instead, i guess we're just better off trying to make it
big...
