Artist history
October was the first time we played together as a band, in the insulated basement. Jon had just recently quit playing in Never Say Never, and Zac had just moved back to Erie, after a few attempts at starting a band in Pittsburgh. Jeff hadn't played since Fyi broke up years ago, and Josh had been back in Erie for about six months, after quitting The Huntingtons in March. Jon had been working at the tattoo shop. Josh was working at a gas station. Jeff was still at the Comic Book shop, as well as the Silk Screen Shop. Zac, well Zac was working somewhere one day, and somewhere else the next. So we all got together and decided to see what we could do. Jeff and I had written a few songs over the last six months, mostly out of boredom. Zac brought his p.a. equipment, and a half stack for me to use. I brought my crappy guitar, which doesn't really belong to me in the first place. Jeff brought his little amp and guitar. Jon used his busted cymbals. We played the songs. Wrote some new ones. My amp head blew out. Jon's cymbals kept breaking. Jeff got a new amp. I used his old one. We played a party in December, first time playing for an audience other than a few friends. Went back to practice and write more songs. From there we've played a bunch and
have been gaining support for rock and roll domination. From here on in no ones quite sure of what's to become of black rose diary. But if you're looking for us, we'll be in the insulated basement.
