Description
After covering the low end in Clear Chaos, Matty B. decided to
expand his old punk guitar talents after being inspired by
Buddy Holly. He formed the Dirty Pickles in mid July, 2004
after reuniting with ex-Castration and Subject to Change bassist
Ben Jammin whom he played with in United Slaves of America.
After rotating through Restoration's guitarist Kang and ex-Call
Me Hero's drummer Steve Saylor, the Dirty Pickles were finally
formed after merging with the excellent jazz drummer and beatboxer,
Matt Korytowski. Matty B. & the Dirty Pickles jumped into
the local scene after playing at the annual Garage Band Blowout
at the Pepsi Amphitheater on the bayfront. With positive feedback,
they have continued to play and hope to revive the rockabilly
spirit in Erie.
