Artist
history
1981 -
1998 I will say that in over thirty years (and probably almost as
many bands) the Dogs were the most! I can’t say that I’ve
ever had as much fun or more fun as a musician. As with untold numbers
of other bands, what happened off stage dictated our fate more than
the music and performance. Had we not been stupid, we might have
been rich . . . . sounds like a new Dogs song . . . .It was extremely
difficult to select stuff from the archives . . . What should I
pick? MJ’s Modern Music Extravaganzas? The various phases
of the band and ever-changing line-up? The recordings? Posters???!!
There’s five gazillion of them!!! Press? Press!! Never has
more been written about less. How about the “Morons of Rock”
tour? And, let’s not forget the final gig!! Oh, which one
was that you said!? Smart ass!! And the venues! YES there was a
time when The Dogs played somewhere else besides Goofie’s!
Thank God for the Goof. Photos? Got some even the rest of the band
has never seen. GOT BOOTLEGS? There are volumes of recordings of
some really weird shit! Some of which may ultimately make it to
this web site. So.... what has been uploaded here thus far will
only be limited by how much I can stuff in here. Yes, I SHOULD get
a life! Maybe start watching the WWF or The Beverly Hillbillies
again! To Bruce and all the Dogs, their friends and fans........
