Artist
history
December
10, 1999: Patrick Hughes joins and after one practice session it
is apparent that FaKtory Collapsing has been reborn, better than
ever. As if being called by fate, Patrick takes over as
the new vocalist, helps redefine FaKtory Collapsing and their sound.
January 2000: dead of winter practices ensue in a garage heated
only by a fireplace. Freezing is not the right word; crippling is
more like it.
Late January 2000: New practice space adopted, more comfortable,
however much smaller.
May 2000:the new FaKtory Collapsing introduces itself to the public.
One radio personality is quoted as saying "they are the craziest
band I've ever seen" on the air of a popular morning show.
June 2000: Patrick leaves for a job he was previously obligated
to. FKC continues on.
December 19, 2000: Pat comes home and FaKtory Collapsing hits the
studio.
January 4, 2001: The first FaKtory Collapsing record is up for sale.
2001: Writing begins on the next record. FKC tightens up and waits
for the big opportunity.
May 2002: FaKtory Collapsing heads back to the studio to record
the follow-up to 2001's "FaKtory Collapsing."
November 1, 2002: "Fed Up With Everything" is released
to the public.
After: FaKtory Collapsing bides its time.
