Description
"Erie's Homegrown Tribute to The Allman Brothers
Band." The Midnight Riders are a tribute to one of
the greatest American Rock and Roll bands of all time -- The Allman
Brothers Band. The band started out as a few friends just wanting
to play some great tunes and have some fun, but quickly mushroomed
into an authentic seven-piece tribute. The Midnight Riders feature
the same instrumentation as The Allman Brothers Band, including
two drummers and slide guitar. The members of The Midnight Riders
are all seasoned Erie musicians who have been involved in such bands
as Plato's Cave, Starfish, East Ave, Zipper City Blues Band, Eastern
Smyle, Blues Expansion, and many more. Expect to hear a heavy dose
of electrified southern blues rock including "Ramblin' Man",
"Revival", "Jessica", and of course, "Midnight
Rider". The Midnight Riders are ready to share the music of
The Allman Brothers Band and to deliver their simple message: "People
can you hear it? Love is everywhere."
