Artist history
The Throwbacks came together in the fall of 2000. Rob and Jason had left their golden years of skapunk (The Fabulous Go Go Rays) behind them and The Throwbacks was the reunion opportunity they needed. All it took was the Lou Pearlman like organization of vocalist/song writer/elder statesman and great humanitarian, Joe. Like an expert cobbler, Joe assembled the band into the rock-n-roll machine it is today. The final piece of this entertainment puzzle came in the form of drummer extrordinaire, Jay (formerly of the legendary Retodz as well as My 3 Scum). Since those humble beginnings The Throwbacks have torn through the rock world like a Cheetah on PCP. The band has shared a stage with many of today's punk heros: Oxymoron, The Forgotten, Agnostic Front, Youth Brigade, Antiseen, Hudson Falcons, Pressure Point, Dead Empty, Terminus City, and many more. Rave reviews have been published as far away as England. World domination pounds at the Throwbacks door like a Jehovas Witness in the springtime.
