Press reviews
Rick DiBello and Alethea Bodine got so many requests for "Time" - the Tom Waits' tune featured in the Roadhouse Theatre's recent production of "Vieux Carre" - that they got a smart idea. Under the name Torn Curtain, they cut a 3-song CD which includes a gorgeous, sublime version of that song, plus a cover of "Funny Valentine" and a spell-casting DiBello original, the spectral "Get Closer." They'll have copies available when they perform Saturday at Scotty's. - Dave Richards 3/1/01

Live Time ...and Torn Curtain with Rick DiBello and Alethea Bodine. Torn Curtain also has a new CD, a 3-song work that features a Tom Waits' cover, a radical reworking of "Funny Valentine" and an intriguing DiBello original, the spectral/cinematic "Get Closer." - Dr. Rock 2/33/01
