CD release - "Mambo"

The
style and direction of this band is straight forward and
clear cut - latin jazz. You know what to expect and Mambo
does not let you down.
The father/son duo of Julio and Jeremy Quezada on spanish guitars leads
Mambo through a variety of melodic, harmonic and rhythmic excursions.
Backing up the Quezada's are Ralph Retinger on bass (who also plays in
the Decibels) and the powerful rhythm section of Joel Polacci on congas
and Ricky Hopkins on drums.
This disc has excellent sound quality with clean, clear production provided
by Midtown Recording's Randy Hetherington. The CD is composed of eleven
tunes ranging from high energy pieces to beautiful slower songs.
Put Mambo on and prepare to "take the trip" to exotic spanish
flavored landscapes oozing with a rich latin vibe.
