Rick DiBello - bio
Rick DiBello - a musician, actor, and artist of 26 years - has long been known for his varied musical ventures ranging from Erie's first new wave / punk band "Pistol Whip" in 1977 to the psycho hillbilly sounds of the "Cattle Cruisers" to the David Lynch influenced "Torn Curtain". The last seven years have been mainly dedicated to theatre with lead acting roles in "Reservoir Dogs" (Mr. White), "Side Man", "The Mutilated" and "The Dreamer Examines His Pillow". DiBello is also the Sound Designer and Music Director of the Roadhouse Theatre. Some of his projects include "The Rocky Horror Show", "Cabaret", "Always...Patsy Cline", "Honky Tonk Angels", and "An Evening With Hank Williams".
Rick also composes, directs and produces original multimedia productions with his partner Alethea Bodine (Torn Curtain). Together they incorporate original music, dance and acting to portray concepts and stories. Recent shows include Sammy the Rock Opera, pRO_gRESS, pRO_dUCT, Carpenter, Consumption, Cubic Hair, and red.
Rick also runs DiBello Design, a full featured design house and Erie Internet. Projects include web development, audio/video engineering, multi-media cd-roms, and all facets of graphic design.
